BUREAU DES CONGRÈS ET DU TOURISME
2nd year for 2nd Street Oktoberfest! All are invited on Saturday, October 12 from 4-7 pm. 2nd Street will be closed to traffic starting at 2 pm from Callendar to Lewis for the Street Party with businesses along 2nd Street and adjacent Callender and Main Street open late for shopping, dining, and celebrating.
Admission is free and there's fun for all! The event featured kids’ activities, autumn drink and food specials, music, and the opportunity to support locally owned small businesses.
We'll have kids' activities, and seasonal food and drink specials.
Kick off your holiday shopping at nearby shops open late on 2nd Street and along Callender Street and Main Street.
Bringing back Oktoberfest after a 20-year hiatus is intended to bring overnight visitors in the shoulder season, and bring business to lesser-visited 2nd Street and is sponsored by the Tourism Business Improvement District. In subsequent years we hope to expand the event. Stay tuned for more details!
DISTRICT D'AMÉLIORATION DES AFFAIRES DU TOURISME
Oktoberfest is a collaboration of businesses on 2nd Street (and the corner of Callender & 2nd), sponsored by the Livingston Tourism Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Livingston Destination Management Organization and the Downtown Livingston Business Improvement District (Explore Livingston Coalition).
NOTE: Livingston's Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID), in partnership with Downtown Livingston Business Improvement District (LBID) and Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is collectively called the Explore Livingston Coalition and all are funded by downtown district property or hotel bed taxes to support Livingston's business and tourism economy. This group is not a membership-driven organization so serves all Downtown and hospitality businesses in Livingston and does not charge for their services, but rather provides services, projects, marketing, and grants supporting events that bring tourism dollars into Livingston's economy.
